Acta Botanica Venezuelica

Acta Botanica Venezuelica es una revista con periodicidad semestral publicada por la Fundación Instituto Botánico de Venezuela Dr. Tobías Lasser (FIBV). Tiene como objetivo principal la difusión de resultados de investigaciones realizadas en el país o que involucren la flora y la vegetación de Venezuela. Fue creada en 1965, el editor Fundador es el Dr. Tobías Lasser y desde la publicación del primer número tiene distribución nacional e internacional. A partir del volumen 16 se publica un índice acumulado cada cinco volúmenes impresos. Incluida en los índices internacionales Biological Abstracts, CAB Abstracts y Ecology Abstracts desde la década de los noventa.
Áreas de interés de la revista: Botánica, morfología, taxonomía, anatomía, ecología.

Acta botánica mexicana, es una publicación del Instituto de Ecología A.C. que aparece cuatro veces al año. Da a conocer trabajos originales e inéditos sobre temas temas botánicos y en particular los relacionados con plantas mexicanas. Los artículos son evaluados por pares. 


Acta Botánica Mexicana is a journal of the Institute of Ecology A.C., which appears four times a year. It accepts original and unpublished works on botanical subjects and in particular those related to Mexican plants. Articles are evaluated by peers.

Acta Botanica Islandica (1972– ) is a scientific journal dedicated to the study of the botany of Iceland. Content is mainly in English, although individual papers in French and German have also been published. Publication is irregular. The last issue of Acta Botanica Islandica was published in 2011.
Acta Botanica Islandica is available for purchase at IINH offices in Garðabær and Akureyri. Copies can also be ordered by e-mail at nia@ni.is.

Acta Botanica Brasilica - official publication of the Sociedade Botânica do Brasil

The Acta Botanica Brasilica is the official publication of the Sociedade Botânica do Brasil - SBB (Botanical Society of Brasil). The journal has been half-yearly published from 1987. In 1998, it will be edited three times a year (3 issues forming one volume: April, August and December), and from 1998 onward, four times a year (4 issues forming one volume: March, June, September and December).
Acta Botanica Brasilica publishes original articles dealing with all areas of basic and applied Botany, in Portuguese, Spanish or English. The research should contemplate theoretical aspects of the subject in question, and be based on a central query that indicates originality and potential interest, keeping in mind the broad spectrum of readers in Brazil and elsewhere.
The abbreviated title, Acta Bot. Bras., should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographcal references and strips.

ACTA BIOLÓGICA COLOMBIANA is a publication of the Departamento de Biología, Universidad Nacional de Colombia. It is published twice a year as a print version since 1982 and its publication was regularized at 1998. An online version is also avaible since 2004. This jounal divulges original and unpublished results of basic and applied research about biological subjects.




Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica (ABBS)

Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica (ABBS) is an internationally peer-reviewed journal sponsored by the Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (SIBS, CAS). ABBS aims to publish original research articles and review articles in diverse fields of biochemical research including Protein Science, Nucleic Acids, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biophysics, Immunology, and Signal Transduction, etc.
        ABBS was launched in 1958 by Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry (CAS) and has established itself over the past five decades as one of the most influential biochemical journals in China. It is highly appreciated by scientists throughout the country. Since 2004, ABBS has turned into a full English journal published monthly. From 2005 to 2008, ABBS launched its online version.

The Acta Amazonica is the official scientific publication of the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia - INPA . Acta Amazonica is a multidisciplinary scientific journal publishing works from international and national collaborators, which undergo revision by peer reviewers, in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, before publication. Since 1971, the journal has been publishing scientific results and findings from research of the Amazon. In its 32 years of existence, it has been publishing without interruption: from 1971 to 1975 it was edited three times a year; between 1976-1982 it was a quarterly; between 1983-1996, after changing to a new and smaller format, it was published at least once a year, and since 1997, it has reverted to being a quarterly, namely, March, June, September and December.

Acta Amazonica es un periódico científico multidisciplinario de libre-acceso fundado en 1971 por el Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia (Instituto Nacional de Investigación en la Amazonía) - INPA. El Periódico publica artículos en portugués, español e inglés de un amplio rango de disciplinas, incluyendo botánica, agronomía, ciencias forestales, zoología, ecología, climatología, salud y sociología. Las publicaciones de Acta Amazonica tienen enfoque específico para la Amazonía. Así las contribuciones no directamente relacionadas al contexto amazónico son consideradas fuera del alcance del Periódico. El Consejo Editorial comprende de un Editor Jefe y de Editores Asociados, científicos altamente calificados de varias instituciones del Brasil o de otros países.
Acta Amazonica es publicada trimestralmente (en marzo, junio, septiembre y diciembre). Todos los artículos que se han publicado por el Periódico desde que su fundación en 1971 están disponibles para libre descarga en http://acta.inpa.gov.br/home.php?opcao=fasciculos. Además, los artículos publicados desde 2004 también están disponibles en http://www.scielo.br/aa. El título abreviado del periódico es Acta Amaz., que podría usarse en las bibliografías y referencias.

Acta Amazonica is a multidisciplinary scientific free-access journal founded in 1971, by the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia (National Institute for Research in the Amazon) – INPA. The Journal publishes articles in Portuguese, Spanish, and English across a broad range of disciplines, including botany, agronomy, forest science, zoology, ecology, climatology, health and social science. Publications of Acta Amazonicaspecifically focus on Amazonia, thus contribution not directly related to the Amazonian context are considered out of scope of the Journal. The Editorial Board is comprised of an Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors, highly qualified scientists of different institutions across Brazil or overseas.

Acta Amazonica is published quarterly (in March, June, September, and December). All articles that have been published by the Journal since its foundation in 1971 are available for free download at http://acta.inpa.gov.br/home.php?opcao=fasciculos. In addition, articles published since 2004 are also available at http://www.scielo.br/aa.  The abbreviated title of the journal is Acta Amaz., which could be used in bibliographies and references.
